Get Offline OPD Registration in GMCH – 32 from September 20th – GMCH 32, CHD

Walk-in registration in GMCH 32 OPD from 20th September. It is specified that the patients visiting OPD for registration or to get doctor’s advice must have a COVID test report. Nevertheless, if the patient comes under emergency cases then he can get the coronavirus test done after getting the necessary treatment and consultation from the doctor.

The walk-in OPD registrations in GMCH-32 have been started from Monday, that is, 20th September. The decision to re-initialize the OPD services in the hospital is taken by the UT administration. Despite the online OPD registration process in GMCH 32 due to COVID restrictions, registration from the counter is now available at the hospital in the OPD building from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.   

As per the officials, the coronavirus test of the patients will be done in the OPD services at GMCH-16 and GMCH-32 hospitals.

 As per the rules, “it is necessary to get the COVID test done before visiting the OPD services. However, in case a patient requires emergency treatment or met with an accident can get all the medical facilities beforehand and a corona test after that stage.” 

By installing the bar-code scanners and printers are being installed by the IT department that enables the online OPD registration for GMCH-16 to be done at all the e-Sampark Centers in the city. In the next 15 days, the whole work is expected to be done. 

A lot of emergency cases were seen in GMCH-16 while getting a surprise inspection by the Health Secretary at night on 13th September. It was followed by another night inspection made by a team of senior doctors of GMSH- 16 and they saw the same rush in the emergency. While talking to the public, feedback of high rush was one of the topmost issues got by patients over there. 

To cope with the situation, it was said to deploy one more medical officer in the Emergency ward of GMSH-16 in near future.
